About Joan

Joan is a Macaulay Honors student majoring Health and Nutrition Sciences with a concentration in Public Health, and minoring in Journalism. She is also taking classes at CUNY School of Public Health for her Master’s in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She joined USG in Fall of 2023 as Deputy Event Coordinator which adeptly prepared her for the role of Events Director this year. Joan is passionate about organizing events that bring the student body together, improves the campus life and creates a sense of community. She is always open to ideas for events that would make the students at Brooklyn College happy, so feel free to reach out to her anytime!
